Make TV a + experience for everyone
It can be hard to find a good compromise. Now you don’t have to. Just put your RS 5200 earphones on and choose the volume that’s best for you.
Maybe you watch TV at a different time of day from the rest of your household. Or someone you watch with has a different volume preference. It can be hard to find a good compromise. Now you don’t have to. Just put your RS 5200 earphones on and choose the volume that’s best for you. Others in the room can still set the volume on the TV just like before. And all you hear is clear, vibrant, Sennheiser sound. Everyone’s happy – and you can enjoy watching TV together again.
Even more + for TV listening comfort
Whether you prefer a more open listening experience or greater insulation from ambient noise, you can tailor the RS 5200 to sound just the way you like it.
The RS 5200 is new and improved. Several styles and sizes of switchable ear tip adapters are now provided for perfect fit and performance. Whether you prefer a more open listening experience (you can still hear other sounds around you) or greater insulation from ambient noise, you can tailor the RS 5200 to sound just the way you like it. Our engineers have also enhanced the flexibility of the stethoscope-style earphones. They’re even more comfortable to wear now and insulate against noise from motion. And of course, you can still set the volume control separately for your left and right ears – new, more responsive volume buttons make it easier than ever.
For those long + sessions
Because the new RS 5200 earphones are so comfortable, you can wear them for hours on end.
Enjoy the occasional lengthy movie or Netflix session? Go ahead and turn on autoplay. And with the generous 12-hour battery life, you’ll get tired before they do.
Freedom is always a +
The wireless receiver gives you up to 70 meters of range – no need to sit close to the TV set or wrestle with annoying cables.
Get up and grab a snack from the kitchen – and keep listening without hitting pause. The RS 5200 connects to both digital and analog outputs, making it compatible with practically any TV. And unlike conventional headphones, these stethoscope-style earphones don’t interfere with your glasses or hair.
Design that looks and feels +
Our all-new TV-listening earphones offer an experience so natural you’ll forget you’re wearing them.
And when it’s time to charge, you’ll get a gentle reminder – after a generous 12 hours of use. Just slip the earphones into the stylish transmitter base that doubles as a charging station and dock.

Title: Treat Someone You Love, Including Yourself
Review: I’m cheap, so after some research I purchased the SE5000 SuperEar for myself. It works as advertised, with the associated pitfalls (background noise sensitivity most notable), and I’ll keep mine in case my hearing diminishes to the point of requiring a conversation aid. Under the right circumstances, the SuperEar would work fine for that…HOWEVER, it also firmed my resolve NOT to cheap out on my dear ol’ 82-YO mom’s birthday gift but to instead heed the advice of reviewers suggesting the Sennheisers were the way to go for premium wireless TV headphones. After testing the RS 5200’s I’m very happy that I and ponied up!My biggest unanswered concern at the time of purchase was whether audio could be played both through the RS5200 headphones and TV speakers at the same time. I am very happy to report that the answer is YES!–in particular by using the fiber optic audio port of my mother’s ROKU TV with the cable provided. It was plug & play, requiring no TV menu changes. The headphone and TV volume controls independently adjust their respective outputs. This is perfect for times when only one movie viewer has trouble hearing conversations at moderate TV volume levels. On the other hand my mother can listen to, say, Fox News at a headphone volume that doesn’t require her to use subtitles, without driving away the rest of the household–that is, with the TV speakers MUTED! She’ll even be able to hear TV conversations while puttering around within 20 feet (or more) of the TV, heretofore unheard of (pun unintended)!Headphone sound quality is primo and the Conversation Enhancement feature, also not yet fully tested, appears to offer a significant boon to speech comprehension when soundtrack audio otherwise tends to drown out conversation. My only real concern is comfort. I acclimated to the pressure on my ears but have only tested the headphones with the largish cone-shaped pads they come equipped with. Eventually my ears needed a rest. I think one of the additional 3 sets of pads of different shapes and sizes included would likely prove more comfortable for smaller ears.If my mother enjoys these headphones as much as I think she will, it’s very likely I’ll be forced to spring for another set for myself. A bittersweet result, wallet-wise, but a GREAT gift suggestion for my wife (are you reading?)

Title: good fit. clarity. lighter.
Review: Still figuring out how to make the sound sharper and more precise. Too much bass and hardly any treble. Not pleased with rubber tips. One of them should have been narrower and deeper. It could have been lighter. Better than TV ears but not the best. I have an older model which is light and has excellent sound, but it is not for new TVs.

Title: Best TV headphones for hearing impaired.
Review: We ordered a few other kinds of TV headphones for a hearing impaired family member.None of them worked. Audio in all of them would stop suddenly for no reason at all.We didn’t think we’d find anything that actually worked until we found these. They work perfectly. No audio outages. We may even purchase another pair for another family member.

Title: Degradation of Product Quality
Review: I purchased this item believing that it would be an improvement on Sennheiser’s TR840 but I was mistaken. This unit is less comfortable, but more importantly the audio quality is substantially worse than the older model. Specifically, the audio is very muddy in comparison. I’m not aware that one can adjust the treble or mid-range quality of the audio on this unit. There is also a noticeable delay with the television’s audio which is very annoying. All this is to say that I’m glad I kept the older model and am still using it.

Title: These Really Work
Review: My husband is extremely hard of hearing and cannot wear hearing aids (long story but he cannot process all the sounds in daily life). He has had several pair of headphones for TV but only 2 sets ever really worked. Both were Seinhauser. The last one’s finally gave up after about 6 years. Tried 4 different kinds and returned them all. Finally talked him into spending the little bit more for Seinhauser and he absolutely loves them. Even for him he says they have crystal clear sound, even better than his last Seinhauser set. So happy he can enjoy TV again.

Title: Lifesaver!
Review: My husband has hearing problems. So when he had head surgery and couldn’t wear his regular headphones we didn’t know what we were going to do. Then we found these and the were perfect. He loves them and never interfered with his head wound.

Title: Not compatible with LG TV- Model OLED55C3AUA
Review: Was not compatible with my new LG OLED TV (Model OLED55C3AUA). I thought cords to the digital connections would do it but No. I tried to get help from Sennheiser (email only offered) and they said to contact the TV because most new TVs do not provide a roadmap for all the various settings that they now have. I did contact LG which answered the phone on first ring, was able to remotely control my TV, tried various settings and said these Ears are not compatible with my TV. Sennheiser said it is the first TV that’s not compatible with their Ears. Ah
